Fairfax Water is pleased to offer a variety of payment options. A detailed description of each available option may be found by clicking one of the buttons below.

Direct Debit

Direct debit is a simple way to pay your bill automatically from your bank account. Participation is free.

Here is how it works:

• You will need to complete an "Application for Automatic Recurring Bank Draft" form. You may download a PDF version of this form by clicking here. After completing the form, mail it, along with a voided check, to:

  You may request a form be mailed to you by calling 703-698-5800.
• Once your form is received, automatic payments will begin with your next billing cycle. If you have a current bill, please submit payment as you normally would.
• Your quarterly bills will continue to be mailed for your records.
• You may cancel your participation in this program by notifying Fairfax Water at any time prior to four business days before the scheduled payment date by contacting us by e-mail at customers@fairfaxwater.org, by phone at 703-698-5800, or in person at 8570 Executive Park Avenue, Fairfax, Virginia 22031.

Direct Debit Terms and Conditions

Authorization - By completing this application, you are authorizing Fairfax Water to make your bill payments by transferring funds from you bank account to Fairfax Water.

You are required to submit a voided check with the application.

Signature on the application must match the name on the voided check

You are obligated to ensure that sufficient funds are in your account on the transfer date. If funds are unavailable at the time of the transfer, a return payment fee will be applied. If two rejections occur within a year, you will be automatically dropped from the program.

If the bank returns a transfer without payment, Fairfax Water has the right to assess a fee equal to the fee charged for return checks. The participant is then responsible to immediately remit full payment and the return fee.

You may terminate this agreement at any time prior to four business days before an amount is to be deducted.

Based upon the services billed and under the terms of this agreement, it is understood that the payment deducted may vary. Amounts will fluctuate from billing period to billing period. This authorization allows Fairfax Water to adjust the amount drafted from your bank account to accommodate changes in usage and charges.

Each bill received from Fairfax Water will serve as notice of the amount of each payment deduction.

Fairfax Water reserves the right to cancel this agreement.

Pay your bill online using your checking account or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Payments are processed by Speedpay™. Speedpay™ charges a fixed fee of $3.95 per transaction. Transactions are limited to $500 each, but there is no limit to the number of transactions you can make. Payments made before 10 p.m. will be posted to your Fairfax Water account the following business day.

If online payment is made after the disconnect date printed on your bill, please call 703-289-6185.

Telephone Payments

Pay your bill by phone using your checking account or credit card (Visa or Mastercard). Payments are processed by Speedpay™. Speedpay™ charges a fixed fee of $3.95 per transaction. Transactions are limited to $500 each, but there is no limit to the number of transactions you can make. Payments made by 10 p.m. will be posted to your Fairfax Water account the following business day.

In Person

Cash, check or money order payments are accepted at our main office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., except holidays. Check or money order payments may be deposited at anytime using the night deposit box located at the front entrance of the main building.
